Belly Laughs for Breakfast
I have a TV screen in the kitchen, where I often indulge my addiction to Turner Classic Movies (TCM) while I cook. Today I saw a few snippets from the middle of Tugboat Annie, a 1933 classic with Marie Dressler and Wallace Beery. Both Dressler and Beery have the most expressive voices and faces – faces which could launch a thousand tugboats.

Hello dear Pen and thank you, too. I have been consumed with two major wolf projects, one involving the sanctuary and the other involving it and other non-profits. I’ll expand on this when it’s beyond the planning stages. Moving forward on these projects is my goal for 2014. Many blessings to you!
hey there, Monica, thanks for dropping by, it’s been ages since I last ‘saw’ you.. Hope things are ok. as so many are experiencing hazardous weather conditions. Makes the opportunity for laughter all that precious… huge hugs to you xPenx
Vielen Dank, Freundin!
Aren’t they great!? I was thinking we don’t have movie stars who look and sound like that any more. We have tidied ourselves up and limited our range, to our detriment, I think.
I can just hear those voices 😀
Liebe Grüße wünsche dir einen schönen Nachmittag.Gruß und Freundschaft.Gislinde
Such good medicine! And laughing together – that’s even better, dear Pen
Laughing along with you Monica, isn’t laughter the best medicine for all ills? Cheers to you my friend, and to many more laughs this year of 2014. hugs aplenty xPenx
