HERD DOG
Herd dog gone bad
salivates
at the smell
of lamb roast.
This poem is for Storm Cloud, our border collie. Here are some pictures (taken a few years ago) of Stormy and Ben together in the dog house. One of them looks pleased.

I wrote this because we cooked a lamb roast once, and Stormy went berserk! I thought, “wait a minute now…” I think she was trying to say, in the picture, “Isn’t there any place I can go for a little peace and quiet?!” Thanks for indulging me, Bluebee.
Ha ha – ‘herd dog gone bad’ – I love that and your comment ‘one of them looks pleased’ – very sweet pictures. bb.
Thank You Monica…

Thank you, Androgoth! You, too – and especially a wicked Sunday.
Well they certainly look at home with each other in there, even if Storm Cloud does seem a bit timid in there… lol Great photographs and nice little gem of a poem too… Have a wicked Thursday Monica…
