A Marriage Poem

Like an Oak

May your love twine around you
and support you
like a sweet-smelling vine

May it grow strong and straight
like an oak
rooted in the earth and reaching for the sky

 May you find strength
in the framework of love
throughout your lives

And may the blessings of love
rain down upon you
and through you
to your friends and family
and to the children yet to come

A wonderful descriptive poem Monica, and a love likened to an Oak, to live as long and grow as strong is a love worth having. I hope you and yours are blessed this way. … xPenx
