Carmen at the Met

This curtain does not bode well for the outcome. In the last act, Carmen appears wearing a black dress with a similar red rent down the front.

looks as if you had a wonderful time , Monica, in such a fantastic setting…. Carmen’s dress & the curtain the same eh?…isn’t it always the same, being out staged by a curtain. xPenx.

  It was great fun, Pen. This Carmen spent quite a bit of time on her back on the stage floor. An interesting production. Not easy to sing while lying down.
