No Kisses
No worries, no walks
no vet bills, no medicine
no brushing, no poop to pick up
no licks, no sniffs
no happy faces, nobody to need me
no soft fur, no sweet smell
no love, no kisses
no collies

Happy 14th Birthday, Sneffie and Lulu!
Thank you so much, Androgoth, for your words of comfort.
Dear Sandy, A belated thank-you for this lovely comment.
Oh, Pen, I know you from your posts. You are a happy girl and will get where you need to be. As for myself, I don’t plan on ever recovering. Terrible thing to admit. The bark, something seen from the corner of the eye, the dream vision. That soft fur, always a surprise. And those eyes, always on you. I stumble along, but I see you flying. Not forgetting but rejoicing.
NO soft fur, … I was thinking on this poem last night Monica, and I came to read it once more. Tears are falling, but a small smile too. I’m getting there but ever so slowly. So many ways of not seeing my friend, she’s not here, not there and …. did I hear a bark? But no, just the wind … Sometimes, just sometimes, I forget which makes remembering all the more painful. Dry the eyes, blow the nose and remember the great times we had. xPenx
It is indeed a very sad time losing
a pet… Much more than a pet my friend…
