No error or need to apologize — I know there are wonderful Scottish, Irish, and Welsh poets — but I was thinking about three special English ones. (I think so, anyway.)
In my comment I said English Poets, but of course I meant to say British Poets, and so I do offer you my apology for that most ridiculous of errors… Have a lovely Tuesday Monica…
Yes I agree with Lady Penelope, Poetry is indeed a magnificent vehicle in which to empower the sumptuous richness of the written word, it can be free flowing, humorous, at times heart-rending or full of vitality, verve and even the wickedness that enchants the very strands of our existence.
We as readers of Poetry can journey through the many exhilarating and truly wondrous fields of imagination, capturing the essence of creativity and harnessing the richness that is a never-ending source of delight. You have written a very nice Poem here Monica and one that is a tribute to English Poets of the now and indeed the yesteryear of accomplishment.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts my wicked friend.
