DEEP SEA SONG
Your deep sea song
My cells remember
and feel the pull
longing to join you.

You describe a very compelling feeling. That power of connection, broader than our minds can know. We hope for it.
I think we can all relate to this feeling…in some way…for me, not necessarily to the seas, but to the Heavens…believing that there is a purpose to life and that there is ‘somewhere’ there in the afterlife…like you say, it’s almost like “My cells remember
and feel the pull”…even if my mind does not recall it.
Loved this one my friend! Thanks for sharing 😀 xx
Thank you for your lovely comment, Monica, and I have a feeling this is where the idea took hold…(re-reading your words Deep Sea Song…) and grew from there.., my thanks…xx
A very nice addition to your Poetry
Monica, keep up the most excellent work…
Hello Ian, I know from your poetry that the sea has a strong pull on you. Thank you for your lovely words.
Something haunts me about your words – the calling and response. I like that a lot.
Thank you, Laz. Your poetry is always so peaceful…
How lovely – and thank you, Bluebee.
I really enjoyed this one , Monica
Peace to you,
So few words, yet so powerful, Monica – Immediately I identify with your expressed connection to something ancient and primal in our minds – beautiful. I listen to whale songs on my ipod when I need help in going to sleep sometimes.
the longing , calling and response… I think deep down we all feel the pull Monica, so aptly described by your lovely words… Penx
Simple words on the mystical world of the briny seas , it has a call for all of us , if we can listen to the music of the ebbs and flows of the tides
