MOON PULL
Rising moon
pulls me
calls me outside
to walk under brilliant clouds
in the quiet evening
lit by lunar radiance,
no longer by your presence.

Julie Maren, what a delight to hear from you! I think about you all the time, as I look at my beautiful moon sculpture and your paintings which adorn the house. I’ll email you about the 18th. Thanks so much for visiting Sweet Planet Poems and for finding me online.
Monica! I just googled you and found you wonderful blog- and then I just saw the “moon” tag and read your poem. I had no idea you were a poet! I have so enjoyed perusing your site- your beautiful words, images and thoughts.
I would love to catch up with you! May I invite you and Craig to an event in Denver on Aug 18th? If so, I need your email address.
All the best and once again, beautiful!!!

Thank you so much, Chloe — hope the moon is shining on you.
Androgoth, you are truly a poet. Beautiful.
An almost haunting experience as one gathers pace below the moonlit skies, a shadow caught from a bended branch and an echo of the Wolf beyond the horizon, the enchanting pull of the moon as it glimpses through the clouds rupturing emotive feelings of wonder and of course the hint of trepidation…
A very nice piece of poetry my great friend, I can see from your readers that i am not the only one to enjoy it… Be well now Monica of Sweet Planet Poems.

many thanks for your lovely comment Monica, glad you enjoyed my foray into Earth’s birthing pool. I had to come back and view your photo’s again, I lay in bed last night awake, mind was working and wanted to add this extra verse to my poem…
who am I
who missed the chance
who am I ?
To command tides to dance,
who am I?
You are the Moon,
Earths only satellite,
You Birthed too soon..
