Thank you, Bluebee. We went backpacking at Heart Lake again this summer. The beaver and his house were still there. It took longer, but by the third day he did come for a visit. I had been waiting.
The video is just teeming with the sounds of nature. How lovely.
Very cool to see them for a week! They are big – I remember being surprised, too.
Beavers are intriguing animals. Had a chance to observe a pair for a week on a camping trip we took to Minnesota. Their size surprised me.
